Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services Internship and Fellowship Positions Available

INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Catholic Charities West Virginia provides free and low-cost legal services and advocacy for refugees, immigrants and asylum seekers. Our Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services Program offers internship opportunities to students to learn more about United States immigration laws and policies. Interns can help make a difference in the lives of those in need of legal services.

Interns will assist immigration attorneys with client intake, form and document preparation, and file management. Candidates should have strong written and verbal communication skills, and experience with Microsoft Word and database management. Proficiency in Spanish is helpful.

FELLOWSHIP OPPORTUNITY

Catholic Charities West Virginia provides free and low-cost legal services and advocacy for refugees, immigrants and asylum seekers. Our Refugee Resettlement and Immigration Services Program is seeking a graduate Fellow to work with immigration attorneys for client intake, document preparation, file management and case advocacy.

A non-profit Fellowship provides the opportunity to develop professional skills, assist with current clients in need of refugee and immigration legal services, and learn United States Immigration Law in a client-based setting. Candidates should have excellent oral and written communication skills, be detail oriented, and have experience with Microsoft Word and database management.
