Public Invited to Catholic Charities WV ‘Dip Dinner’

Event to Raise Funds for Catholic Charities Promise House Family Resource Center

MARTINSBURG, W.Va. – Catholic Charities West Virginia (CCWVa) is inviting the public to a “Dip Dinner” April 18 from 6:30-8:30 p.m. in Lackey Hall at St. Joseph Catholic Church at 225 South Queen Street in Martinsburg, W.Va.

A “Dip Dinner” is a community event that allows churches, organizations, and individuals (identified prior to the event) to share their favorite homemade food with those in attendance. Participants do not need to bring food but instead will purchase tickets to buy “a dip” of various dishes. Each dip ticket costs 50 cents, and attendees may buy as many dips as they would like.

Proceeds from this event will help support CCWVa Promise House Family Resource Center, which offers and coordinates programs and services that respond to the needs of local families.

No reservations are needed and community attendees are invited to arrive any time between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m.
