Catholic Charities West Virginia (CCWVa) will host a Sabika Bingo fundraising event on Sunday, May 16 at the Bluefield City Park in Bluefield, WV. The doors will open at 2:00 p.m. and bingo will begin at 3:00 p.m.
“Sabika Bingo is a fun event that raises funds for the vital services CCWVa provides in the local and surrounding areas,” said Matt Atwood, CCWVa Southern Regional Director. “At the same time, attendees will learn about the work Catholic Charities does and the impact it makes in our community.”
Proceeds will support CCWVa’s programs and services in its Southern Region. Catholic Charities collaborates with community partners, parishes and families to provide caring and compassionate services to people in need and work toward lasting and meaningful change.
“Sabika Bingo takes a fun twist on bingo,” said Atwood. “Rather than winning cash for each game like traditional bingo, the winners receive beautiful Sabika jewelry.”
Tickets are $25 at the door. Due to safety guidelines, seating is limited to the first 125 guests.
The event will feature a number of door prizes, concessions, and a 50/50 raffle as well.
