Third Annual Health and Wellness Expo to be held in Pettus
CHARLESTON, W.Va.—Catholic Charities West Virginia (CCWVa) will hold the third annual Health & Wellness Expo in the small community of Whitesville-Pettus, W.Va. This expo will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. April 24 at the Raleigh-Boone Technical Center gymnasium in Pettus. The event is free and open to the public.
The expo will offer seniors and families information and practical tools in becoming more engaged in their own health and well-being. CCWVa Western Regional Director Emily Warder noted, “In addition to raising awareness of the services that Catholic Charities WV Western Region provides to our residents, we believe our Health and Wellness Expo is a forum for people of our region to come together to discuss healthy choices, facilitating relationships between community members, service providers and local businesses.”
Proceeds from sponsorships will benefit the CCWVa Whitesville-Pettus WellnessWorks Food Pantry that operates two sites in the area (St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church in Whitesville and Raleigh-Boone Technical Center in Pettus).
